Our Story – Rooted in Community

The original illustrations of greeting cards for the Thai Festival Collection are hand‑drawn by Thai local artist Mr. Suwit Kempetch at Samchuk Art House, a community learning centre in Suphanburi province, Thailand.

Beyond his artistry, he and his wife, Ms. Alunothai Khanthong, devote their lives to teaching arts and music to children at the historic Samchuk 100 Years Market, nurturing creativity and cultural pride in the next generation.

This Samchuk Community and old market was honored with the UNESCO Asia‑Pacific Award of Merit for Cultural Heritage Conservation, recognizing its outstanding efforts in preserving traditions and fostering creativity that continues to flourish in the community.

Each card embodies not only the beauty of Thai traditions, but also the heartfelt story of a community where art, heritage, and generosity shine together.
